Herbalife Leads to Winning Streak
I have been very fortunate over the years to have been very involved with coaching 
youth baseball.
I recall coaching a group of 13-year-olds a few years back. This was a very talented team made up of the best players from two school districts. The boys are now freshmen in college and several of them are playing college baseball.
The team got off to a rocky start, losing about half of its first ten games. This was completely unexpected, but we were finding ways to lose games we should have won. That’s when one of the parents on the team said that the reason we were not winning as we had anticipated is because we were drinking Gatorade on the bench instead of Herbalife products.
I thought the guy was nuts, quite frankly, but at this point I was willing to try anything. Besides, the field was about 200 yards from the parking lot and I was getting tired of carrying the big jug of Gatorade. So, I agreed to let the parent bring juice from Herbalife International.
Needless to say, the team began a winning streak and ended up being the division champs. We cruised into the playoffs an eventually lost in the semifinals on a date when the parent did not bring the Independent Herbalife Distributor did not bring the Herbalife juice.
Now, I’m not saying that it was all about the Herbalife, but the team won 90% of the games when we drank it!
