Owning your own shop is hard work but it’s really rewarding, too. IT’s nice knowing I get to make all the decisions but also a bit scary that they impact so many people and also my own livelihood at the same time, you know? I think it’s important to know what you’re getting into and that you’re going to have to learn about everything from how to Compare Texas Electric Companies to how to build a website to how to operate your office coffee maker – there’s nothing you don’t touch when you’re the owner and that’s the way it should be. It’s been a rough road these last few months but we’re going to make it through if I have anything to do about it. I can’t fire anyone – these people have come to be my friends – and I’ve got so much invested in this place at this point closing the doors would be a huge loss. I’ll figure out a way because I always do!
