Scrubs for Work

Posted by: admin In: Promotional Considerations

You want to look good.  Whether you are going to the mall, to work, to a party, or to the gym.  Why not look your best wherever you go.

When you work in the medical profession, however, it’s not easy to look good, because on Monday, you wear scrubs.  Just like you do on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Heck, sometimes you forget and put on your scrubs for that hot Saturday night date with Bob from accounting.

I’m one of those gals who wears scrubs every day, because I work in a dentist office.  I have kids and fat guys slobbering on my scrubs every day.  So, they get dirty and they get worn out.  But, I’m single and I want to look good, because there is a lot of hot guys coming into my dentist office every day.  Some are really rich and many are better looking than good old reliable Bob from accounting.

If you need to buy scrubs, you should go to this web site:  http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ .

Buying Scrubs

Posted by: admin In: Promotional Considerations

If you work in the medical profession, sooner or later you are going to have to buy scrubs. It may not be as much as say buying that new sexy black dress, but it’s a necessity and you need to own a lot of scrubs for work. You can’t wear the same one every day of the week!

I’ve been in the medical business all of my life so I’ve bought enough scrubs in that time to support a small country. So, I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert. I’ve been to many stores and I’ve shopped for scrubs online. And, the best place that I’ve found to purchase scrubs that fit well and look good is at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/.

You can find scrubs just about everywhere, but when you find something that works, stick with it. So, I just keep going back to Blue Sky Scrubs, because they have such a variety of scrubs available with new fashions seemingly every month.

Now, about that little black dress that Bob loves me to wear. I think I need a new one.

Drug Rehab in Birmingham

Posted by: admin In: Promotional Considerations

Medicine is one of the greatest inventions of modern man.  Of course, medicine has been prescribed throughout the generations, but the recent improvements in them, and understanding of the human body, makes medicines increasingly effective.  Consider that when your grandparents were young, polio was still a

major concern.  Today, thanks to medicine it is almost a non-factor in health in developed countries.

But, sometimes medicine can go all wrong.  I’ve seen it happen to friends and I’m sure you’ve seen it too.  What starts as a pain killer for chronic back pain, for instance, becomes a reliance on pain killers for life.  Forgotten are the time consuming and semi-strenuous exercises that the doctor ordered.  ”Just too busy to exercise,” the patient may say.  So, I’ll just keep taking this medicine for my chronic back pain.

It won’t take long until those pain meds become less effective and more are required to do the trick.  This situation progresses until family and friends realize that drug abuse rehab is truly the only effective choice left.  And, then it comes time to break the news to the once strong man or woman who is now hooked on back pain medicine.

The good news is that there are terrific drug rehab centers all over the country.  But, if you live in Alabama, then a Birmingham rehab center may be convenient for the family and friends to come visit.  Closeness of family and good friends is critical for your rehab to be successful, because you can’t do it alone.

Home exercise is the new phenomenon in fitness, and the explosive growth of home exercise equipment is ample proof. It’s easy to see why many individuals would be interested in home exercise routines. You can get great results exercising at home, as long as you know what you are doing.

All it takes to get results at home is an exercise mat, some free weights (dumbbells) and exercise tubings. Even if you don’t have all these tools, there are several exercises you can do around the house. You can always try exercises that use your own body weight. The secret to success is to exercise the right way without hurting yourself.

At home, you can train at your own time. You are unaffected by the timings of your gym or your trainer. This is an excellent solution for stay-at-home moms, individuals who work from home, and individuals with an erratic work schedule. It’s nice not to have to pay for a gym membership. I love exercising at home, because that’s how I started. It’s fun and I enjoy it even today. I have a treadmill that faces a large TV, some dumbbells and a never-say-die attitude. That’s all it takes. With the number of tools available today, it is simple to set up a gym atmosphere in the comforts of your own home. I train most of my clients in their own home.

To get results at home, you need self-motivation and discipline, since you are going to be on your own. It’s not as hard as you think and can be enjoyable and beneficial. When you are committed mentally to pursue a leaner, energized and dynamic fitness level, changes happen much faster. Register on my website to get a free, full colour, printable exercise routine for home exercise.

There are some things that can derail home exercise.

It’s likely your hectic schedule or a long commute discourages you from exercise. Sometimes, an individual can get intimidated by the social atmosphere of a health club. After all, if a club is a place where people flirt more and exercise less, you might find yourself less inclined to go! It could also be crowded, and many people do not like waiting in line for the equipment. With home exercise, there is not waiting period. Despite the popularity of health clubs, many individuals are now exercising at home. In fact, the Journal of the American Medical Association reported a study conducted by Stanford University. The study said exercising at home is just as beneficial as working out at a health club. Interestingly, the study also found people who trained at home were more likely to stick with their program than those who exercised at a club.

Strength Training Exercises At Home For The Upper Body and Abdominals.

For best results, warm up for 10-15 minutes with light aerobic exercise (walking, cycling, jogging). Deep breathing and stretching for 3-5 minutes before you begin strength training helps the muscles relax and rejuvenate.

The following exercises do not require any equipment, other than a pair of dumbbells.

This is a unique method that I have developed on my own, and it has helped thousands of clients get results. You can view my clients in action with videos of home exercises and download full color exercise routines by registering on my websites mentioned at the end of this article.

Fast Food Can Be Healthy

Posted by: admin In: Promotional Considerations

It’s easier said than done.  As Americans, we are seemingly always on the go.  We are working overtime, going to the kids’ sporting events, and working out for our own endurance and strength.  Our busy lives can make healthy eating a challenge.  That’s for sure.

You want to eat right, but you may only have 20 minutes to chow down lunch.  That means a quick drive through at McDonald’s.  But, believe it or not, there may actually be some healthy food options, even at a fast food restaurant like McDonald’s.  Skip the french fries, as difficult as that is, and order the salad instead.  Think about a smoothie instead of that Coca Cola.  Drop the Whopper with Cheese and go with a simple chicken sandwich instead.

The other way to eat healthy is to pack your lunch.  Do it the night before, because you’ll surely be rushed in the morning.  Pack some granola bars and some yogurt for when you get hungry at work or need to eat in the car.  It’s when you get famished that you usually pull into a Wendy’s or Taco Bell and eat bad food.

And, regret it later.
