Fitness Boot Camp Workouts are becoming more popular every day around the world. I see signs for them everyday as I walk down the street. Many people are turning to boot camp workouts so they are able to workout with friends or start a workout where they can make friends.

Get down and give me 10.
Why Boot Camp Workouts are great for working out with friends
In the many years I have done workouts at the gym, I can not count how many times I have seen people working out in groups of three. There is always an odd man out. For every 1 minute of exercise you get 2 minutes break. I have been in this situation before. It is kind of hard to ditch a friend. You could do super-sets but then it just gets too complicated and there is only one spotter. This three person routine just makes the workout less intense. I like intense, effective and quick workouts. I prefer to workout the least amount of time possible that I can still get results.
Bodyweight exercises work perfectly at solving the three person workout dilemma. Using bodyweight exercises everyone could workout together and rest together. This will make your workout a lot more intense since you are working out for 5 to 10 minute bursts with only 1 or 2 minute rest periods. This is a great way to motivate yourself to do more with your workout. Challenge each other by seeing who can do the most reps for each workout. Maybe the loser has to do another round. This also gives you time to talk with your friends during your rest periods.
Why Boot Camp Workouts are great for making friends
Many people have a hard time finding friends to workout with and keep them accountable. I have even seen people in the classifieds advertising that they are looking for a training partner. Some people just can not workout by themselves. They need the extra motivation. Without this motivation they usually end up giving up on their workout and quitting when they do not see results.
There are many boot camp communities out there with people who are in the same position as yourself with the same goals. Since you share common interests and goals you have a good chance of making friends. There are many varieties of boot camps such as women’s only, mom and baby, bridal and sports specific. Many of these boot camps will have face book pages or forums where people can talk and share their experiences from the workouts. By having the same instructor or instructors each time it will give you someone to be accountable to.
Try one of the fitness boot camp workouts in your area. You will be surprised how much fun and how effective they are.
